At 22, Lauren Simmons wasn’t just breaking into Wall Street—she was rewriting its history.
In 2017, she became the youngest full-time female trader at the New York Stock Exchange. Not only that, she was the only woman—and the only Black woman—on the floor at the time. But don’t think she was there to blend in. She was there to dominate.
Working for Rosenblatt Securities, she executed multi-million-dollar trades for clients with speed, precision, and a poker face that earned her the nickname “The Wolfette of Wall Street.” But after two years of trading chaos, she realized something bigger: there were millions of women who would never get this kind of financial literacy, access, or power.
So she walked away—and built her own lane.
Today, Lauren is more than just a finance icon—she’s a media creator, angel investor, public speaker, and the brains behind a growing movement focused on closing the wealth gap through storytelling and strategy.
She launched her own production company to develop finance-centered media that doesn’t bore, condescend, or exclude. And she’s been hosting “Mind Body Wealth,” a personal finance show on streaming platforms that breaks down everything from investing basics to crypto, student debt, and wealth trauma—with honesty, style, and actual substance.
She’s also investing—backing startups led by women and people of color—and using her platform to shift the narrative around who gets to talk about money. Forbes, CNBC, and Time Magazine can’t stop calling. And Hollywood noticed too: her biopic, starring Chloe Bailey, is in development.
Lauren’s message is simple: you don’t need to come from money to master it.
She advocates for financial wellness as a mind-body journey—one that demands clarity, confidence, and courage. She openly talks about mental health, imposter syndrome, and the pressure of representation, especially as a Black woman in a space that often pretends diversity doesn’t exist.
But through it all, she keeps showing up. Bold. Brilliant. Unapologetic.
And she’s just getting started.
